When Times Are Hard

When we have financial hardships, it's difficult to remember to be good to ourselves.  Struggling financially can make us forget to not only take care of ourselves, it can make us forget how to pamper ourselves from time to time.

Sometimes the relatively small purchase of a vintage item brings great joy by reminding us of good times in our pasts.  I have been going through a treasure trove of vintage items my mom left to me when she passed in 1985.  Originally my intention was to sell everything in an effort to downsize because I don't have enough space to display it all.  But I have decided to keep a few items that bring back great memories of her and her home where I grew up.  It's my way of pampering myself.
